Healthy freshwater fish
We focus on raising fish with the care and attention needed for a strong start in their next water.
About the farm
A Northern Ohio fish farm built around healthy water.
Tansey Fish Farm raises freshwater fish for the ponds and private lakes people care for close to home. Our work is rooted in practical hatchery care, clear guidance, and respect for the water each fish will call home.
Northern Ohio · Pond & lake stocking
Our roots
Raised with care. Guided by the water.
We believe a good stocking plan begins long before fish reach the pond. It starts with healthy fish, careful handling, and an honest conversation about the water you have.
From working ponds to private lakes, we help owners think beyond a single delivery day and toward the balance they want to build over time.
Hatchery practices
The details matter at every stage.
Practical guidance
We keep the conversation grounded in your pond, your goals, and the species that can work together.
Northern Ohio perspective
Our approach is shaped by the seasons, waters, and pond owners we serve close to home.
From our farm to your water
Let’s build a better water story.
Whether you are planning a first pond stocking or thinking about what comes next for an established lake, we are here to help you start with confidence.
